Since we met in 2020, we’ve grown and changed in ways neither of us could have imagined. We’re no longer the people we were back then, but every step of that journey somehow brought us closer. Even without shared friends, places, or circles, life found a way to cross our paths exactly when it was meant to. We lived through a pandemic, we adopted our beloved dog Nacho, and we built a home that feels entirely ours.

Building our life together in Italy has given us something incredibly precious: two families for each of us. Gio has a second family in Colombia, and Pao has a second family in Italy. This is one of the most beautiful parts of our story.

At home, we switch between three languages, and even with all our differences, we somehow understand each other perfectly. Now our shared traditions blend our worlds: arepas on Sundays, panettone and pandoro during the holidays, and good coffee every morning even if it’s an americano.
